Kalinga Industrial Training Centre, A registered educational society was set up in 1991 to impart vocational training courses with the prime aim & objective of fulfilling the shortage of skilled and semi-skilled workmen and to create an attitude of self employment among students passing HSC or Equivalent Examination. The Institute started functioning in August 1991 with 19 trainees in Electrician Trade and has grown to full fledged ITI. The Institute is permanently affiliated to NCVT, Govt. of India, New Delhi since Aug-1994 and has its own permanent campus. KITC has a total of 2 acres of land under its possession for its present and future growth. It has its own building having 10,000Sq.ft of built up areas with well equipped workshop, classrooms, office, library, hostel etc. The teams of qualified, experienced and dedicated training staffs are imparting training. The organization is in constant pursuit of excellence through creation and argumentation of enhanced infrastructure facility, thus creating foundation for imparting quality technical education so far unparalleled in the region.
